The safety of this collagen has been demonstrated in numerous animal and clinical studies and is the base component used in FDA approved products including soft tissue augmentation, bone graft substitutes, hemostats, and other clinically relevant applications.

The collagen is isolated from bovine hide originating from a closed herd and purified using a GMP manufacturing process.
